Where we are and what to visit
The small clear stream, the splendid olive groves, the small village, left to preside over the valley of the Era River, surround the rustic restructurings which make up the houses and apartments of Casa Vaiano. Our guests will be able to immerse themselves in an uncontaminated area, a jewel of 100 hectares of greenery at 450 m above sea level, less than 17 km from the Etruscan city of Volterra, 17 km from the medieval town of San Gimignano, 60 from Pisa (Galileo Galilei Airport), 55 km from Florence (Peretola Airport) and 50 km from Siena.

Food and Wine
Tuscany is the home of good food and excellent red wines (such as the Chianti Putto or Gallo Nero) as well as white ones, such as the Vernaccia, typical of San Gimignano. A lot of small bars, restaurants, and wine bars are found in the immediate surroundings.
In order to satisfy the most “relaxed”, Casa Vaiano suggests the excellent Restaurant Molino d’Era, which is only 5 minutes away by car, and which offers excellent typical Tuscan dishes such as wild boar, soups and their famous T-bone steak. Casa Vaiano’s clients will receive a special treatment.
