Since 2002, the Farmhouse Casa Vaiano has decided to comply with the new regulation (2092/91) and convert from a conventional agriculture to an organic one. We made this decision mostly to be able to produce an extra virgin olive oil of the finest quality. In this sector we also produce cereals to obtain durum flour.
My wife Daniela, is skilled to produce homemade marmalades with the fruit from our farm; she is also able to obtain an excellent Limoncello. These are always niche products, which are limited, but which enable our guests to take home a souvenir that recalls the fragrances and flavours of Casa Vaiano.
Those who stay with us have the possibility to pick fruit from our garden and taste it in fresh salads, true zero-mile products).
Seasonal fruit also comes from our orchard, which is always available to our guests, who often enjoy picking it.
